I love that car !!!! What motor is that?
The wheels are sweet !!! A neighbor just put a set on his 65 Mustang. I might ask him if we could throw one on mine (just for kicks)

            Love them 59's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              Skyd:

What brand of dye did you use, and from where?

              Looks very good.

Suprisingly, I tried Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric Paint: High Performance from Advance Auto. I have been very happy so far, the kids car seats haven't scratched the dye(Yet). I was looking for a quick cheap solution until I can afford to get them professionally redone with new foam and covers.

But I may just keep them for a while, I like how they turned out.

Thanks for the kind words. The motor is the 352 that was in it. I worked it a little. I have been rebuilding a tri-power for it and hope to have it on soon, but not sure how it will perform.

I do really like how the wheels turned out, although I am thinking about downgrading so I can throw a nice set of white walls on her.

A real HotRod! I don´t know why, but I am always come back to green when I think of what I would like to do with mine.
A white roof would work on this one. And a Green/White combo, not nessesary vinyl, but perhaps textile / vinyl on the seats would just make this one a killer.
Never thought I would say that spokes wheels would fit, but these do. Classic! A real HotRod!

Thanks, I like the look of a hot rod Tbird, just like El Guapo's. I think these cars are so unique at shows and cruises that they stand out my themselves as originals or mods.

It's when we make little changes and share with this group that makes it special and truly appreciated.

Very nice looking set up. I am no expert but I imagine they would be hard to balance? If they go as good as they look however, you are on a winner, cos that is some looker of a carby set. Congrats to you!

Thanks guys! I need to finish the fuel line tonight(hopefully) and get the new throttle cable going, then I will deal with the **** (I have
heard) that is balancing the carbs. I got my fingers Xed that it will work. Not to mention the fact that I rebuilt the carbs myself.

hey Guapo - yea, these are the ones my Wife said I needed to get, Totally agree, now I am thinking about finned valve covers to match.

Also I am gonna look at cost of shipping the car to the west coast and take a nice trip down the coast, the good thing is my wife is all for, so, I gots buy in to plan that.

its a 352 bored out, a bigger cam and 2.5in exhaust off the headers and a nice set of patriot mufflers, love the sound. I rebuilt it a few years back.
