yes that is a floor shifter, I am putting the finishing touches in it tonight(hooking to the tranny) I have a tiki head as the shift knob, kinda funky. I didn't want to cut the original center console to add the shifter, so I removed it all together.
As far as the color, I don't remember, I will look at the can tonight and let you guys know.
The Color of my bird is called "Bright Calypso". Don't recall what year is used for the body. For the engine I used ford's 1991 Bright calypso from the Probe I believe. I need to try to decode the can used for the body to see I can get the year.
I must say it is a beautiful car just like all our Birds. But the credit is all yours due to your time and effort to complete her. and your sence of (shall we say ) style and freedom of expression.
I just dyed them for now. I plan on getting them re-upholstered in the winter. I will probably match the original style.
My fear with keeping the dye job is that I have a 6 year old and a 22 month old. Don't know how long the Dye will last with 2 car seat scratching them up.

So, you dyed the original vinyl covers? Nice. I'm always curious when I see unonventional seats as I need new covers (and likely foam) and I just can't afford them. I keep hoping that some kind of budget miracle is going to come along.
My first '59 was Hickory Tan & White inside and out. I painted it Red and completely dyed the interior to black and white. Still looked pretty good 9 yrs later when I sold it. Was alot of work but the price was right!
Agreed on the price thing. I think total for new door panel, front and back seats, carpet, front kicker, rear 1/4 and that makeshift centerconsole - was about $225.00 and many hours in the garage. keep in mind that the carpet was about 150.00
the downside is that I have close to no foam left on the seat bottoms. - My first objective was to get the interior cleaned up.
