    right turn grind/rub

The 58 squarebird that I finally have time to work on makes a grinding/rubbing sound when I turn hard right. This problem doesn't exist during hard left turns, or slow right turns. I was thinking that it has something to do with the power steering, but I was hoping that someone on here could throw out a few more intelligent hypotheses before I look closer into the matter.

    THANKS!

Since it only happens on hard turns, I suspect that possibly your control arm bushings are worn out. Does the car seem to shift sideways a little bit when you make a hrd turn?

I took it out for a short drive today, and it does seem like it shifts a little bit during a hard turn. Thanks for the tip!
