Can anyone tell me where I can find a good used gas tank or a reasoable priced new one for my 1963 Thunderbird.

Welcome to the board.

New reproduction gas tanks run about $235. It is well worth the cost. Rust and sediment from a used gas tank can ruin your fuel pump, carburetor and engine, so it is not a cost savings.

Sometimes new gas tanks are on eBay for less than $235, but I do not see any there now.

Try ebay. There are a few classic car companies or "stores" that sell them on ebay. Saw one the other day for about $155 brand spankin new
