58 Hood Springs & Truck Springs

Just found out that I cannot get my current springs tempered on my
58, from out local supplier. Does anyone have these that are in good condition?? Drop me a line and we can work things out.

I've got 7 parts cars that still have their trunk springs. Trouble is that the last time I sold a set that worked fine on the parts car, the customer complained that they were weak. He did not want his money back, just wanted to tell me that they were weak. I can sell you a set that works for 15.00, but don't know if they will be weak when you get them installed.

Do you also have the hood spring assemblies in your parts cars
as I am need of them as well?? Mine are weak and only hold hood half way which is not safe at the show & shines.

Dan, i got a set from carl...Good Person, really good. You might have to tighen them just a bit like i described to you before, I have carls set in my car now and they are great,, i did have to tighten them so you

Great, just remember they are 46 years old and you are more than likely going to have to tighten them up
