    Voltage at Ashtray light

I am only getting ~5.2 at the ashtray light bulb connector. Is this correct or should I have 12v at this connector?

    Hey Kevin,
Just checked "Christines" 11.68! Do you have your volt meter set right? Check meter at battery! Also you may have bad or faulty body ground wire!

Gentlemen, all dash lights depend on the position of the dimmer on the headlight switch. They go from 13.5 all the way down to zero.

If you have reduced voltage on one dash light, all the rest should be the same. - Dave

Thanks Dave. That was it. For some reason I forgot the ashtray light was on the dimmer circuit.
