Back up light location

I am starting to put my 59 back together and I forgot where the light with the back up ligh goes it it on the outside or closer to the gas tank fill tube

They go on the inside closest to the gas tank.

Back up lites 59

I think if you find other 59 owners that the back up lights are located on the outer lenses. 60's are different from 58's&59's. I wrote an article for the VTCI scoop documenting the 58 had 2 designs of rear wiring harness.
The 59 used the later style 58 harness with the back-up lights located in the outboard lens.

No problem is very simple to move the light bulb so I will go to the out board side thank for all the input.
