    sun visor colors

FYI While looking at our calendar today with Doug's 60 Black convertible gracing this month, I noticed his red sun visors. Remembering there was something different between the years with visor colors. I looked into the VTCI's OFS and found the following.

1958, 1959 Hardtops and Convertibles, all had white sun visors. For 1960, all Hardtops had white visors, however the convertibles have color-keyed sun visors this one year.

Some information for those of us that didn't know.

Yep . . . Mine are red . . . Well, were red. Kind of faded orange now. Prob on HT's they wanted em to match the head liner.

I noticed on my buddies 59 conv, his top frame was red. Looked orig. Mine in my 60 is black. Funny how they changed things like that from year to year.

      Blue valve covers . . .then yellow(yuk)

Yep, agreed. It's one of NorCAL member's cars. The 64 t/lights are funky too. Just thought I'd throw it out there

I noticed that there are no door handles.

                    How does that work?

Thought I might like it,but sorry they are just not the same.
Bart I believe the doors work on the same principle as auto locks.

Love the color on that. The tires seems small to my eyes, though. They do seem to fill the front wheel wells though. I sort of like the asymmetrical scoop, but not sure I'd do it myself. The subtle flames are a nice touch.

Those doors might have remote actuators, but the old school way of doing it, I think, is hidden buttons on the car somewhere. You reach inside the fender well, hit the switch and the door pops.
