Water Temperature Guage

About to install a Sunpro 3 guage set up. Alex says the oil pressure should hook up to the top of the filter housing but when I looked at the temperature switch behind the distributor it looks like the new guage sender wont come close to fitting? Has anybody else attempted/done this before? Pictures to come soon

The temperature senders are resistors. Your original may work with the new gauge. Check the resistance for the new and original gauge at room temperature and at 180 degrees to see if they are similar.
