The tank look like sh*t now, to be honest, and I donīt know if it fit anymore...
Donīt know if the sender was broken or not in the explosion either, and how well his new welds are done as it separated in some areas...
Need to try it anyway, so i can move the car. Will do it tonite.
I ordered a new one from Larrys T-bird and Mustang Parts last night......
    Hope itīs a fine product.

I found that black plastic part, with all the wires going into it, and as itīs just behind the lightswitch, I guess itīs that one.
On this part, looking from undernieth, I saw where itīs place for two fuses.
Now, One was there, but the other was not there at all. Whatīs also made me confused, is thet the one that was there, that piece was kind of loose, and it looks as it should be like that.
      Is this alright?
And, shall I try to chase the missing one? I mean, looking at the wire diagram, there should only be one ...
And if I need it, anyone who know what it should say when it comes to the tecnical specification?

Iīm close now guys, donīt give up on me just yet.

I manage to squeeze in the exploded fuel tank also, and apart from that it looks like sh*t, it works, and have to do until the new arrive.

        What?
How do I mesure that? Describe like you do it for a child please. Step 1, Step 2 etc.

Make shure you've got both of those fuses in.I believe their both 15 amp.(Correct me if I'm wrong guy's) Thats always where you want to start.
You can bend the tabs that hold the fuse slightly to get a proper connection.

The Brake light fuse is not on the light switch. At least, it isn't on my 60. The Brake light fuse is up under the dash up near the ignition switch. Somewhere on this forum is a pictute of an exposed rear of the dash board. I'll try to find that and post it here later. My fuse says 14SFE which means that it is rated at 14 amps and blows without delay.

In the other Tread, they are talking about a 14 amp fuse.
The one I have is a SFE 9.
Shall I have 14 Amp in the other, or in booth?
Apart from that, another wierd thing have appered.
All my lights, except for the Stop light works.
When my lights are off, the indicators have the same speed. When lights are on, the left goes slower, but the right goes as before.... What is that all about?

Anders, there is nothing easy about these cars. You have to reach under the dash, there is a button on the right side of the switch, you have to push it in and pull out of the light knob. The knob and shaft will come out all the way, then take a large screwdriver and unscrew the bezel. The swith will pull out from the back.BE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST!!!!

AhA! So Thatīs how it works. Great community this.
Battery is disconected. From an ensurance point of wiew, we must have a little "quick disconnector" at the battery here. Looks like a rotary knob connected on the earth on the battery, so itīs easy to connect and disconnect.

If the 9 amp is good then, use it. A 15 would be ok, but don't go any larger. When I measured mine current through the Stop light fuse it was about 8 amps.

                              Thanks Wildcat.
Took her out for a spin today, as it was som kind of gathering ( I was hoping to meet someone who was good on the electrics...), and the weater was just perfect. Mostly Caddys and a very pink Impala... Old American cars are VERY, VERY popular here, and there are MANY of them, and loads of realy fine ones. Nice day Still using the Texas plates , and the temporary red plates in the window, until I get my new. For cars like this, we get smaller plates so they fit.

Nice Buick also. Like that one.
