    Exhaust manifold revisited

I had my gaskets replaced with the "No Blow" gaskets. I used the bolt set that accompanies it. I did not bend the tabs after installation. I know this is a dumb question but once I bend the tabs I can't go back and tighten these bolts as previously I bent them a couple of times and broke them. My question is once I tighten them and bend the tabs will they loosen? Do I have to worry about that happening what can I do to prevent the loosening of these bolts?

I would run them and get them hot and re tighten all the bolts working from the center out then bend the tabs and you should be OK

Never bothered with the tabs on my '66 exhaust manifold bolts and so far none have backed off.

Also don't run a gasket so maybe that's why they haven't moved.
