    I think itīs wise to have a silencer mat or similar on the floor under the carpet. Will make driving quiter.

      the car is not going to be driven and the carpet has that extra padding on it.

          Update!!

          Enjoy the new grille picture. and the convertible frame is all adjusted just waiting the front window seal and the rest of the big order just placed. 3rd time i think and i think we need to place another order.i hate ordering becuase its always 5 days because they are shipping from Arizona concours parts.

                so BIG proress is on the way got the front window and cowl together about 5pm tonight.so tommorow we should have a complete front end with chrome cant wait ill be sure to get more pictures dont worry.

                  need some help

                  hey everyone im in need of some help. everything in the thunderbird is ready to go for the covnertiuble top, but we need some new switches and or OEM ones. does anyone know where i can get all of them they are they switches with the 2 plug attachments on them nopt the single that you can buy from concours. they are not allowing me to open the top correctly becuase they are junk. so if anyone has these or knows wher ei can get them please let me know thanks brandon.

                    Is this the one you need. If so Mac's has them listed. If you are handy they can be taken apart and the contacts cleaned. That's usually all they need. If you are referring to the limit switches they are a little bit more difficult to find.

                      yes the limit switches is what i am reffering to. i have all the relays. the decklid stop switch? that goes right by the driver side of the rear shock

                        This one is the only one that I know of that's available new although just because it's listed doesn't mean that it's in stock. If you need the smaller ones you will have to find used ones. Try Carl Heller (partsetal), Bob's Bird House, The Birds Nest or the T-Bird Sanctuary. They all have used parts.

                          i need some more help everyone where does this stainless piece have a home at?
                          along with the 3 bigger pieces i cant seem to remember it was over 1 year ago and i cant find where it went in any of the pictures i took. and as for the switch i think we found a place that can rebuild them for us.

                            The smaller pieces go over the edge of the quarter trim panels at the door post. Here's a picture. The larger pieces look familiar but I can't place them at the moment. I'm sure it'll come to me.

                              Those long strips, two curved and one straight, surround the glove box opening on late 59s and 60s. 58s and early 59s did not have the dash pad running all the way into the glove box opening like the later models did.

                                the front seats are just sitting there waiting to install seat belts



                                the new hood insulator i dont like it its nothing like the factory one but it does the job will it get docked if judged?
