>Hey -- Ya never know!
I guess I should have said -- Yes, please post them or send them to me.
I Just had this completed on my 58 and it was no fun for the installer.
He might be willing to give some tips but said easier for him to do again. Unfortunately we are in Wi. Yes we are cheese heads.
Will see if he has a few pointers tommorrow. This is installing either a repro one or a NOS one in a 58 bird. Installation is different than a 60.

Good deal! Doesn't the replacement panel need to be glued in? I'm wondering this because my replacement is just the foam (and the covering of course). Nothing else. No studs.
I did a '58 last summer. I agree with Alexander - very little
glue needed. The '58 also had metal retainers on the back side
that did a great deal of the work in holding things together.
Lots of trimming needed, though. A very slow job overall as
I was not sure how to get the dash apart and then out, and then did not want to trim something to the point of being visible. Patience is good on this job. In the end it worked out fine and the car improved substantially as a result.
If you are going to do any maintenance or repairs on: wiper motor,
heater, heater ducts etc, this is a REAL good time to have terrific
access to them. Be careful of the cardboard defroster ducts.
