Here are pics of 3 VIN #'s I found while cleaning up my engine compartment this last weekend.
This one does NOT match my car at all...? It is on the right inner fender well:
This one is a match, and was found on my lower center cross-member:
This is another match, and was located on my right inside front suspension "frame horn", close to where the upper A-arm attaches:
What are your opinions fellow birders? Again I am the 2nd owner, and the seems & body lines seem correct, as well as the orginal black seem sealer is present everywhere. What I mean is, I don't think my inner fender has been replaced, the Bird dosen't appear wrecked or anything. The original owner would have mention this to me I'm 100% sure. Also, in the past a 2nd ROT sheet was found in my bird when I was changing my OE carpet out. That VIN# does not match this incorrect VIN # either, and had a VIN# sequence AFTER mine, yet the date on the ROT sheet was 1 day BEFORE mine....?
