I had taken out the original dash on my 1960 Golde Top a few years ago, but have been unhappy with the fit. This time I took the whole metal part of the dash out.
I notice that there were two trim screws on either side of the metal dash that did not seem to hold anything. they are in perfectly symmetrical locations on either side of the dash. Does anyone know if these originally went through the dash pad originally? Otherwise, they would have no function.
