All saloons are starting look very similar..take the Volvo grill out of that S80, put in an Aussie Falcon grill and you wouldnt know the difference (except inside and under the hood!).

I know you are a designer and probably will spot a million differences, but to my untrained eye, it looks similar to the Volvo. What do you think? When you do have a look at the link the XT is the standard Falcon and look at the XR8 also, its quite punchy.

Looks like Ford is on there way to get the "One Ford" startegy. I can see some similarities on some sections on the rear part of the side looking from a front-side perspective, but it have strong influences from the European Ford Mondeo in the "face". Headlights seems inspirated by Audi though...
I find it a bit strange that just everybody seems to try to make the cars "look angry" these days with the grill, headlights and the air intake ( fog light area ) in the corners.
