    Scarebird disc brakes done or almost

    Finished up the disc brakes this morning, only problem I had was I bought a new brake light switch and it was metic thread So had to fab a line with metic on one end and sae on the other... Going to try other sourse for another switch..

    Still need to hook up a vacumn line, not sure where?

    Tully, your neighborhood Harley Davison dealer has those switches. Rock Auto and a host of other auto parts stores sell them as well. Back in the day all cars and trucks used the same switch. (Where did you find a metric Pressure Switch?)

    Are you still using vacuum wipers?
    Get your vacuum line from your intake manifold. If you need a tee for the wipers, put that in but run your main vacuum line to your power booster's check valve. - Dave

      Got my eye on a plug in the intake right behind the distributor for the vacumn hook up.

      Advanced discount auto sell the switches that are metric...

        Yes, the intake manifold should have had a vacuum line there already. In any case, use it.

        Something sounds odd about that metric switch... Are you sure it isn't an Oil Pressure Switch? If so, it will work backwards; on at rest and off with pressure.
