Steering rack to column hooked up. Fan, shroud, and lower shroud bracket installed. Re-drilled the rubber block for a brass machined insert, so we didn't have to find the mount for the block that should be on the bottom tank.

Rear bracket for windshield wiper vac line.
Think I'll finish it in black, sticks out a little to much in stainless.

Thanks Ray, hope your having fun today.
Few odd's and ends and we should be ready to fire this Bird back up. Getting real close to that time.

Negative ground under dash cut off switch.
No more leaning over the fender and messing with the battery to store car.

We have power. Installed battery and tested systems, but didn't put gas in gas tank, all other fluids installed and motor turns over and we have spark. Built a really cool wiring harness for the battery tender that will be plugged into a special harness installed in glove box and the battery tender will be stored in a special tool box we are designing for the trunk.
                      Charley

PS--You can buy this battery at Interstate Batteries for $89.00 we removed the decal's and going to sand and polish of the writing off on the caps to give it an all black look.

Forgot to tell you guys, the engine started on the third crank over, then we ran the valves at 19 and now the engine starts with in 1 to 2 seconds, maybe quicker, guess we got lucky. But anyway two brake line leaks and one small lower radiator hose leak and we where ship shape. Timing was right on the money, not bad for a bunch of guys that build crashed cars to pay the bills. This was our first modern engine build since say 1976, we normally do 1897 steam to 1915 Model T.

And also, if it's not being personal, how much are we looking at in $$$$$s for the magic restoration. I would like to compare notes If it was done here in Australia.

                              Thank you

Sorry guy's been busy working here's where the Bird is now. Just shot in the jams on deck, doors, hood, trunk and body, getting ready to hang every thing. Also finished up some wiring lose ends. Also sealed the primer using a white sealer.
We also took it for a short test drive, drove and ran perfect no bugs, the motor runs smooth as a silk purse on Friday night with your best girl.
