Bullet Bird A/C installation??
Anyone out there ever install (or see an installation of) a "Vintage Air" A/C system in a '63 Hardtop?
At the risk of raising the ire of the "Tar-and-Feathering" purist
, I am getting ready to install a system in mine - hopefully before the Texas summer gets here. I've been giving it a lot of thought and planning, but was wondering if anyone had done or seen any really neat ideas re the controls and vents. I do not have original A/C nor do I even care for the original big center vent.
Whada' you think: Round or rectangular vents? Rotary or slide controls? Couple of vents in the center just above the console with one on each end of the dash (or down on the kick panels) with the controls where the heater controls are now? Other ideas?
