I'm with 57ford/60thunderbird. The work on both the yellow and purple wheel wells disrupts the beautiful lines of the original design in a bad way. I find the yellow T-bird especially unsightly. Beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder.

The purple one looks like some kind of dragracer, and the yellow something more for a dirt track. Im impressed by the craftmanship of the work, but not so much for the estetics and the final result if these are for the street.

The yellow one... Flares are too big and tall for my taste.
Yep, if it was settin' just about on the ground and had fat meaty tyres it might have pulled it off...

I'm sorry to hear your wife has passed Ray.
I'm sure she was a wonderful lady as evidenced by her choice in husbands.

Likewise, sorry to hear about your loss.

As I sit behind this screen and keyboard, I conjure up the person from what's available, location, pictures, musings. While you've written about your marriage in the past, I've always thought your wife was still with you, sorry to hear that is not so.

I too am very sorry about your loss Ray. May her memory be with you. May God bless you, watch over you, keep you well and safe. Never forget we are here if you need us and we all care for you. You are the person we lean on when we need to find something.
Once again God bless my good friend!

Ray's wife passed 12 years ago. He has a web page dedicated to her, from his profile:

Thanks, Mike, for posting Faye's memorial ovarian cancer website. I would recommend ya'll read through it and provide that information to the women in your lives. The life you save might be someone you love.

Now, let me apologize for accidentally hijacking this Thread! I guess I was feeling a bit down that day when I posted what I did about the yellow car and roses.. My apologies...
