Anyone ever used an aftermarket radiator?

    You could go through all the changes and still overheat if the block is gunked up with casting sand. Pulling the rear freeze plug(s) and flushing out with a hose set in the expansion tank will clean out alot of it and shouldn't lay up the car for more than a couple of hours. Couple of days if I do it.

    Haven't put it on yet but I picked a FoMoCo seven-blade flex fan off a '70 Maverick to try out. Also tried a five-blade heavy duty off my '70 f-250 but there was no difference in the Squarebird when idleing in hot summer traffic.

      thanks sevenup you are very observant..I went with that dist and the module because it is supposed to have the best spark and it retards the spark at start up. I am really happy with the way the engine has come out. Its no race car but ought to have a nice idle romp. I want the car to be a nice driver.
