Hi all. Has the squarebird 430 engine forum been discontinued? I don't see it on the website today. Thanks. Ken

squarebird 430 engine forum
Ya'll should be in the habit of reading the Announcements section of this Forum above the Thunderbird Technical Discussion Section. The announcement about the new 1967-2005 Forum, and combining the engines into a new Engine Forum is there, along with a lot of other good general information you need to know.....
Such as....
Rules of Conduct
Webmaster Announcement
General Announcements
Special Announcements
Membership Benefits and Webspace Information
In the Thunderbird Technical Discussion Forums, Tbirds from 1955-2005 have their own Forums now. Under that are the Full Sized Ford Forums, and the Engine Forum.
In addition, there is a lot of good and important information outside the Thunderbird Technical Discussion Forum that you need to look at, in the General Discussion Forum. Such as...
PC Help Desk
Official Ford Motor Company News
Ford News from Autoblog.com
Our Rides
Tbirds & Big Fords Picture Gallery
Anything Goes!
Events
New Members Welcoming
Thunderbird Production History
Under that, is the Advertisements/For Sale/Wanted Forums. Under that, are the Forums for Paid Membership only, which an un-paid member will not see.
So if you never look at these other Forums, you are missing two thirds of the Squarebirds Forum! Check it ALL out when you log in. Many of you have been missing out on great information for years......Last edited by YellowRose; June 2, 2011, 11:26 PM.

I would agree with Ray's statement about the full use of our site and it's many benefits. We all tend to be creatures of habit and only select one or two forums when we sign on. There are many areas of our site that can be used by members to gather information / diagrams / read old threads about problems / restorations. Not to mention the Technical Section that has been added for vital info for our TBirds whatever year they rolled off the production line. When you have the time check out the other areas and I think you will better appreciate the time / resources that have been put into it's functionality. EnjoyDano Calgary,Alberta Canada

All the old forums are still with us, but they were renamed and moved to their own space.
We used to have 352 Thunderbird engines, but Full Size Fords used them too.
We added 1955-7 Thunderbirds that came with 292 & 312 Y-Blocks. Full Sized Fords (Trucks and Edsels) used them as well.
Falcons came with six cyl and 289 engines (Mustang engines) but we had no forum for them, either.
Now, Squarebirds.org includes Thunderbirds with more modern engines like 5.0L, 351, etc.
It only makes sense to put 'Engines' in their own forum since they are shared by so many Fords. Thanks for understanding. - DaveMember, Sons of the American Revolution
