As Roy Orbison sings "It's Over", I'm finished with Lucifer, my 1958 Thunderbird. I was warming up the engine in my garage so that I could get a wheel alignment this morning when the engine suddenly quits and will not restart. After about 10 seconds, I notice smoke coming out from the hood and then under the dash. OMG, an electrical fire. I jump out and use the quick disconnect on the battery to kill the car. You could see bare wire on a lot of the harness where the insulation had charred. That was the last straw. I was not going to risk my home burning down because of a hobby. I walked inside and called the Salvation Army. The car is being donated as a tax deduction and will be out of my life TODAY. I surrender!
