For what size rims? They're all different, depending on depth.Member, Sons of the American Revolution

Tom, I haven't found a 15" wheel that WON'T fit our calipers. 15" Ford or aftermarket wheels give 11" rotors plenty of room without any spacers and on stock studs and nuts.
I keep showing my Galaxie wheels (15" x 7" Cragar SS), because my '59 Galaxie spindles are the exact same Ford part number as your '58-'60 T-bird spindles:

C0SS 3106-A LH, All Ford Cars and ThunderbirdLast edited by simplyconnected; January 4, 2010, 04:05 AM.Member, Sons of the American Revolution

I have yet to see a '66 with Cragars/Boyds or whatever that didn't have a 3/8" -1/2" spacer behind each front wheel and the general info I have picked up is that very few rims fit over the calipers - even a '64 T-bird rim will not fit, hence my question, maybe I've got my wires crossed somewhere???.A Thunderbirder from the Land of the Long White Cloud.Comment

Oops! Sorry, Tom. My mistake, I misread '60 for '66.
My '90 Mustang came with 15" wheels that fit the calipers perfectly. When I bought 15" American Mags, I used spacers on the front wheels. The spacers work ok with no consequences. When tightening the lugs, I reach inside the wheels slots and center the spacer.

You mention 'you '58-60 T-bird spindles' however I was refering to my '66 with those those big-as-anything calipers!

Yeah, I am running spacers also, but the problem for scumdog is, as I understand it, they aren't allowed to run spacers in his neck of the woodsComment
