Hey all! Name's Jimmy, and after almost 18 years of admiring it, my grandparents gave me a 1960 T-bird that my uncle used to drive. Alas, it has been sitting in the desert at various peoples places over the years, so it's seen better days. The body is solid, the 352 runs great, only someone decided to hit the top of the front right fender with the tines of a forklift, leaving a 6" by 2" hole and then they back into the drivers side door, pretty much ruining it. From what I can tell, all of the trim pieces, inside and out, are there but I am missing the metal piece of the dash, the part the dash pad forms over! Not a good piece to be gone! I will be calling up on everyone I can for any help or advice they will be willing to give. I will add some pictures of my new baby soon, so if anyone wants to look at them and laugh/cry/addmire, they will be here. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I've been reading some of the posts around here. Sounds like a lot of people know what they're talking about.Jimmy

Talking about the actual dash. I have all the chrome, but it seems someone decided to remove and lose the metal dash framework.Jimmy

Update
Hey all! Thanks for the welcomes. Well, today I got the engine torn down and started cleaning it up. The cylinders look pretty good, just a little bit of carbon built up on top of the pistons. Going to try and find a place around here and dip the engine, then Magna-Flux it, check the pistons for cracks, etc. Shouldn't need to much, the car actually only has 85,000 original miles on it. Not bad for almost a 50 old car, huh?Jimmy
