We have a member in need of the OEM '59 or '60 AC water pump pulley so he can convert one of his Squarebirds to an aftermarket AC system. If you have an AC equipped Squarebird parts car with that pulley on it, please let me know and what you want for it ASAP. The '59 part number should be, from what I am told, a B8A 8509-C, triple sheave (belt) unit. It looks like the '60 part number is a C0AE 8509-A, a triple sheave (belt) unit. Thanks!

Need OEM '59 or '60 AC Water Pump Pulley
Hi Michael, no Mac's does not sell the 1960 OEM AC water pump pulley that is required for this '60 Squarebird. I already checked with them and many other Tbird parts houses yesterday. There is only ONE that will work on that year, and only that year and it is C0AE 8509-A, and I have found one. I do want to see if anyone else has one because for 1958, 1959 and 1960 they are almost impossible to find, especially the 1959 version. Because total production of factory AC equipped Squarebirds was small during 1958-1960 compared to non-AC Squarebirds. Anyone else deciding to do an aftermarket AC install on a Squarebird is going to need one of those AC water pump pulleys to do it.Last edited by YellowRose; January 19, 2017, 07:46 AM.

Great to know! I am planning on adding a/c but I do have a later model 390 in it so different again. Very interesting about the pulley differences though. Such a wealth of knowledge on this board!
Just checked out this in technique section, great read. http://squarebirds.org/images_WaterPumpEtc/index.htm
Then came across one for sale
