Here's how you can do it yourself for a lot less. All the Ranco valves are pretty much the same. The T-Bird valve uses the same seal.

Original Heater Control Valve
I have put this information into the Technical Resource Library (TRL) for posterity. Although this is a Packard link, this unit was used by many different auto manufacturers for a good number of years. This information will tell you how to repair the unit and replace the seal.
