Someone is going to get very, very lucky if they get this Tbird! Reon ~ re_run1 has been a member of the Forum since about the beginning. He has used the information available to him on this Forum to restore his absolutely beautiful Sultana Turquoise 1960 Golde Top 352ci engine, with A/C and leather interior! Because storage costs are eating him up, he is going to have to let it go.
Here is what he told me about the car. He is either the 2nd or the 3rd owner of the car. He bought it in 2003. He has the Rot or Build sheet in plastic, showing it to be a factory Golde Top. It has the windbar in place, as you will see. He also has the Operators Manual, and the Shop Manual. It has the radio antenna on the trunk. Much of this car is factory original, right down to the windshield washer on the generator, except for components that he has replaced. Like the original carb has been reconditioned and other components as needed. It has new tires, drum brakes, a recent engine and tranny overhaul, with the engine having hardened components installed so it can run on regular gas. The tranny has the shift kit installed in it. The chrome is all original and looks great! It has the under dash KH Booster on it.
As for the interior, you can see that it has A/C. The rear section of the car interior is all original. The front seat foams have been replaced and so have the seat covers with matching leather material to the back. The door side panels have been replaced also. Being leather, the interior color is fully Sultana Turquoise with no white material. This Tbird is in excellent condition inside and out. You could drive it home. Unless you happen to be overseas, that is! Reon is open to selling it internationally.
I have told you a lot about it, but probably forgot a lot also. He would like to see it go to a Forum member because he knows it would be given the same tender care that he has given it since he has had it. The Tbird is in fantastic condition, inside and out. He has the trophies to show for it. He has put a lot into restoring her to her full glory, and is saddened that he needs to let her go.
