just had my front end parts media blasted. are they to be painted a gloss or semi black? even thought of having them powder coated.

Powdercoating is the way to go! I wanted to but could not afford it. I read that alot of people are using John Deer Blitz Black. I used it on just about everything on the undercarriage. Looks orginal and is VERY cheap. You can purchase a gallon of it for about $30. You can also get it in spray cans for touch-up.
