Wiper problem

Just got my wiper motor back from Fricken. What is the secret to getting it hooked up correctly. For the install do you have the wiper arms at rest or full open. Do you put the vacuum motor lever in the middle or full right or left. I cant seem to get mine to work right even with full color reprints from the tech section. My cable look correct. But I cant get the blades in sync with the motor.

Remove the wiper arms. Run the wiper, then turn off the wiper switch to get the mechanism in the park position. Put the wipers back on in the park position.
