    Brake booster

I need a rebuilt brake booster. Will a booster from other full size 60's fords fit the Thunderbirds? I am switching over to disc brakes and a new dual master cyl. set up, so two bolts on the booster to mount the master cyl.is OK.

    RE: Brake booster

Ford brake boosters from 1960 on fit behind the master cylinder on the firewall. The Thunderbirds starting in 1960 had this kind of setup. It was used on all Thunderbirds without air conditioning. This setup will not clear the A/C evaporator without a special spacer. The spacer was used in dealer installed A/C units in 1960 Thunderbirds.
