i am a 60 bird owner and have been since 71 but need some advise on a newer ford....
i have a 92 ltd c/vicky that has the aode tranny...the o.d. unit is not working properly.
my question is this....can the o.d. unit be reaired without having to spend 1200 dollars to rebuild the entire unit?
every place i go they tell me they want to put in an exchange unit
the o/d unit shifts fine from the get go til; you hit 4th then slips like ****....tranny worked great and shifts perfect if you use drive instead of o/d
anyone familiar with the aode tranny that can give this old man advise? please email me direct at shafeww@hotmail.com with any suggestions
