Looks just like my car . . . Ba ha ha !! When it was brand new . . . maybe. But they put a black top on it. Looks like a turd in the punchbowl with the top up.

If I had 20 grand to spend, mine could be that nice . . . But I don't. I'm happy with it. It's one of the family . . . Best part is it's paid for AND it's one heck of a sleeper. I've fooled a few people.

$45k for a white car, and the engine bay is painted black.
That really bugs me.

The car is nicely done. Why ruin it with a flat black engine compartment? I guess they did not want to spend time removing the engine to paint the engine compartment the body color. It also needs gaskets on the headlight doors - a minor thing.

I could not find the bird you'all are talking about but did you see the one with the 25K starting bid,You would think they would at least paint the air cleaner and valve covers.That is how my engine compartment looked like when I towed it home.

$45K on E-bay, like we have said B4 is a little like the Barrett Jackson theory or only on TV. I am sure we would all like to get that kind of $$$ out of ours but at the end of the day are a little bit more realistic. It would be a lot simpler, if they were required to post, an accredited appraised value ??

Colonel I know what your talking about. I am still trying to get the old pictures from the restorer, who apparently has gone brain dead. It would be nice, to see what condition it was in B4 the restoration and compare to what it is now. I am having a new passenger window installed coming in from Portland and my wife and I are getting the bug to get crusin.

Crusin time

I know how you feel, I've had mine for a year now and am really itchin to drive and the wife wants her patio back.

I look at the pictures every day to remind me how far it's come in such a short time.

I have 30 days to get her back on the road in time for the Rocklin Jubilee. On June 30th.
