carburetor internals

Hi guys! I am rebuilding my autolite 4100 carb and when I took it apart to clean, I found a nail used for a float shaft, they also had carpet tacks forced into the shafts to keep them in place.

I have been looking for someone that just sells the shafts but haven't found anyone yet. I don't need any other parts but the float shaft. I didn't want to buy a whole used carb just to get the shaft.

Anyone know if they are sold by any of our vendors. I have looked at most catalogs and don't see them offered. My other option is local machine shop and copy one of the shafts.
