speaker sounds

the center mounted consol speaker is still a great design . do not spill a dubble rootbeer flote in it though. i replaced my speacker with a wallmart 6x9 . first i hit down the tranny tunnel1/2 inch
owch/gulp. next the speaker plastic on top was removed and the fold up edge carefully bent over flat . have speaker playing about 60 % power while doing this. bend slowly.. cloth on topside as original
and half inch foam /small peice under speaker it will be tight.
hook both right and left speaker channels in parrralel . your bird will have the fullest sound you wont belive... dave
