Gold vs Silver Tail Light Bezels on a 1960 Thunderbird
RE: Gold vs Silver Tail Light Bezels on a 1960 Thunderb
I still have not received my bezels. My credit card was charged for them last Thursday. Perhaps this is a sign that they were indeed finished and shipped out. I wonder what shipping method is being used that it takes so long for the bezels to get from Pennsylvania to New York?

"Well, the fastest snail that I've ever had covered a two foot course, which is a standard course for a snail race... in some three minutes flat. Now any mathematicians listening to the program will realize straight away that works out at 132 hours to travel a full mile."

Here are a couple of pictures I took of the 1960 gold tail light bezels. Note, I still need to rechrome the waffle plates. I like it. The effect is subtle. I will probably eventually gold plate the grille bars and the door script. That's all I will modify.

I did not have the waffle plates rechromed yet, just the tail light bezels. The tail light bezels were $600 to rechrome and $25 to add the gold plating.
