Default Marshall&Rosi's Red '59 Convertible..

I have been assisting Marshall in troubleshooting an overheating problem in their gorgeous '59 Convertible. He sent me a couple of pix and permission to post them for him. I think the external chrome kit really sets off the red paint of their Tbird. Here is what he had to say about his car, wife and girls!

"You guys are great! Thank you so much for all your help (and a lot of time) that you put into this. Rosi is from Indonesia and LOVES to drive this car (no convertibles in Sumatra); our 2 little girls are classics in themselves, we think."

Here are two pix he sent me. And here are some more pix he sent of the girls. Marshall said that Rosi owns the 56 T-Bird, Dannielle owns the 57 Skyliner, Jenniveve the 59 Skyliner, and of course Rosi owns the 59 T-Bird as well. I own the lawn mower, at least that's what the girls tell me now and then, with lots of giggles. We have the 4 convertibles only, which is just right for us.

Thumbs up

A great looking '59 soft-top, with RARE '58 wheel covers?

I hope you figure out this overheating issue sooner than later..

Default Rosi's Red '59 Convertible..

Marshall sent me some more pix of Rosi's beautiful red '59 Convertible, with permission, again, to post the pix of her and the girls. Notice whose name is on the license plate! Not his! lol. Enjoy these!

"I send you 3 photos of the 59 T-Bird and my girls last summer, and I hope you don't mind. They're called "brag photos" - classics all around. We have so much fun with that T-Bird. We have 4 classic cars, THIS one is our favorite for cruisin' and taking pictures. Marshall"

Default Marshall&Rosi's Red '59 Convertible..

Marshall, Rosi & Girls were able to get Rosi's 59 Red Wagon out of the garage and cleaned up for last week ends car show at the mall. They were glad the weather cleared enough to allow her to get out of hibernation and back on the road again. As always, she draws a lot of attention when they do. Here is a rear end view taken and posted in the local Missoula, Montana newspaper.

Default Marshall&Rosi's Red '59 Convertible..

Marshall sent me10 more pix of Rosi's dropdead gorgeous '59 Convertible taken at the recent S&S event they spent the weekend attending. Here is what he had to say, posted with his permission.

"Finally... here are the 10 Thunderbird photos I had promised, taken inside the mall here in Missoula, Montana. You have 100% permission from all 4 of us (that's at least 400% total) to post these pictures on the Squarebird website for us. More "brag photos" of my girls... the 59 T-Bird didn't look bad either. It was funny, there were 5 gorgeous 1957 Hudsons lined up right beside Rosi's T-Bird inside the mall. The owner wasn't all that pleased about a Ford Thunderbird getting so close to his space. But he finally got over it, and it was a fun-filled weekend for everybody. Oh, in order to get the girls to agree to a bunch of photos with them in or on the car, we had to first promise them Subway sandwiches, giant cinnamon pretzels, then large milkshakes at the Dairy Queen. Not once, but twice. Both days! But it works every time. We have more fun with Rosi's T-Bird. And that bright red turns heads faster than the speed of a souped up dragster!"

Here are the pix

Cool

Marshall all your ladies look great. I suspect the Hudson's were jealous of the attention your 59 was getting

Default Marshall&Rosi's White '56 Convertible..

Now that Winter is over there for them, Marshall, Rosi, and the girls have brought both their "Girls" out of the garage, cleaned up the White Babybird and took some side by side pix... I reminded Marshall that he has not submitted his pretty '56 Babybird for the Calendar yet... He knows now that I would like to consider it for next year... Here is what he had to say, and pix of the Girls, posted with permission. Notice whose name is not only on the '59 Squarebird license plate, but also the '56!!

"Last weekend, we took both our T-Birds out (56 & 59), but decided to first take pictures of both of them side by side (first time ever with both tops off). I thought they looked pretty cool, then I added the girls to make them look even better! Brag, brag, brag, I know. We love both cars but our favorite is the 59... bright red, top down, and boy does it grab attention straight away. Rosi lets me drive it once in a while, but not very often. I drive the 56 because it's a 3-speed manual with overdrive. Rosi loves the automatic much better!

Thanks for all your help, Ray, I hope you are doing well.
Marshall"

Here are the pix he sent. Enjoy!

Question

I just wonder how the '58 wheel covers ended up on that red '59?

Those look almost perfect & are SO MUCH harder to find than the 1959-60 style Sunray covers...
