I think that's a good plan. Closer in height, not too much too wide. It should ride and handle well and look great.

      My Thoughts Exactly

      Hi DGS:

Yes, that's my thought as well. Everything then is in OEM spec (or close to it). I'm picking up on Friday, will post pics once I get them mounted on the car.

Thanks for all of your help.

      Regards,

      ~g

Do you know what the width & back spacing is on your 15" rim? Scott.

          I believe they are 3.25".

            New Wheels

            15" TrueSpoke Wire Wheels
            215/75R15 American Classic Radials.

Because Front Drums have weights, I had to put 5/16" wheel spacers in the front. I had to make sure that I had at least 5 full threads on the lugs. I have 6. I most likely will find a machine shop to help me replace the lugs with longer lugs to be 100% sure for safety reasons, but for now, with the local driving (very little if any highway) I should be OK with the current lugs, tightened to 80 ft-lbs. There should be enough thread to hold.

I also removed the fender skirts to show.

Wowww. That really sets her off beautifully, Geoff! I am always looking for Bulletbirds to consider for the Calendar.... If interested, check out the information in Anything Goes on specifics on taking pix and submitting them to me for next years calendar. I might have already told you this. Now that I am 80, my Rememberer is more of a Forgeterer..

                Honored & Happy

                Hi Ray

It would be an honor. I'll check it out and set something out. When is your deadline?

You have time as I will not start serious consideration of the Tbirds I have to look at until September sometime. Depending on the number of Tbirds to consider, I probably will not make my final decisions until sometime in October.
