    Brass Window Rollers

Look what I finally got. My nephew is taking classes to become a millwright and was able to make these for me. Now I have no excuse for not installing the windows. I'm sure they will fall right into place. Yeah Right!
I'll let you guys know how they work after the install and adjustment. My hopes are that when I adjust the windows I will get good repetition on window position and alignment.

They look great! I just replaced the driver's window and lower track in my 57 and played with these rollers. Take you time and it will go smoothly. Making parts like this is what I miss since being retired!

I'm really trying to keep it a retro car. The original AM radio sounds terrible and it would really help if I was more fluent in Spanish, however this is how the car was driven in the day. If I want comfort and convenience, I'll take the Caddy. ;-)

I am VERY interested in buying a complete set. Is that possible? Please PM about price if so.
From when I took mine apart, I remember having two different sizes ( leight ). Is that correct?

              Interested in machined rollers

If you ARE interested in selling the machined rollers, please let me know. I have my driver's window out now and will be replacing... I'd very much like to have good rollers.

Quarter Windows Driving me to Drink

                Oh yeah, I already drink.

This took a little over a week to get the quarter windows in and aligned. I think the brass rollers helped in getting the windows to repeat position, but trying to find that sweet spot is really challenging. Thank God for the Dremel and carbide cutting tools. Made easy work of opening holes and slots to try and get things to fit.

Time for a beer...Maybe 2...One for each side of the car.

Now to take the top weather strips out and do a final install with some kind of sealant. Any suggestions?

Getting really close to taking it to the upholstery shop and then driving this beast.

I wish. Still need to get it into the upholstery shop and then it's cruising time.
