Inside Rear View Mirror Pitting??

Seems like my 60 Bird rear View Mirror glass is getting pitted or what ever, anyone know of any source that make new glass for the mirror or re-finishes the old glass

Most vendors listed on this site make repos........even the 60 day/night mirrors. If you would like to save the original glass........Im sure someone out there could remove the old coating off the back and apply new. There is a company called ALSA that makes a fantasticly looking chrome paint called "mirra chrome"........that could be applied. Check out kustomrides.com I have some that I plan to use on some plastic parts for my own bird.

I bought one of those reprod mirrs off ebay. It's pretty good. Very authentic piece. Nice finish. It does wobble a little. I think it was about 125.00

There are two minor differences between the reproduction and the original 1960 Thunderbird mirror. The stem on the reproduction is much smaller diameter and there is no FoMoCo oval on the mirror.

Ok so that takes me back to my question, is there anyplace that can re-do the glass , i had not intended to buy a REPO!
