    Steering ram seal replacement

I have the ram off the car. I have all but the bottom most seal out. I think it's the last seal. It is the 5th item removed, including the snap ring. This looks to be rubber with a metal inner sleeve. I can't budge it.

I thought about tapping the metal inner sleeve with a punch to try and spin it and see if that frees it up. But I've already learned my lesson on asking the experts first before I get too creative.

Any thoughts on how to remove this?

    Thanks again.

Puncture the seal with a straight seal pick on opposite sides, then using angled seal picks rotate and lift the seal out. If this does not work, insert a thin screw into the hole and pull it out with a pair of needle nose pliers.

I was able to punch a hole in it and it pulled right out.

      Thanks for the help.
