Interesting history but maybe that is a re-creation? or possibly they have installed creature features now that they are driving it on the street....
A/C in a race car?
Don't think they would have left the console in either.
Looks like a 352 with an aluminum intake and standard Ford cast manifolds - not headers.



The "race car" doesn't seem to have the tinted windshield either.


Still - pretty cool.

The Kosiski family still runs an auto parts/salvage business here in Omaha. They have 3 Squarebirds in their old car lot (over 300 old cars) and have some of the parts listed on eBay. John is "the old car guy".

Yeah Eric, I think maybe they made a replica of the old race car and the old race car is long gone? Just a thought.

As memory serves me, one of our guys on here is building, or has built a replica of this Squarebird. I just don't remember who it is.
