Default '59 Grill Question

Jay ~ CarGabMA asks this. On a 1959. I spray painted the grille in It grey primer. Should I leave it in lt grey, or paint in Ford Argent, or just clear coat, paint with a spray bomb of spray chrome, or spray in aluminum?

The originals were anodized.

Not sure how this can be duplicated with a spray bomb.

My initial thoughts would be polish the alum and then spay clear. No matter which way works it will be trial and error.

Good Luck

Wink Grill Refinishing

I was shocked at the price of anodizing my grill to make it look new so I took a different approach. I had it powder coated with a shade that looks a lot like anodized aluminum. I did have a clear coat added, but that was just to give it a little shine. Looks great, can send you a picture if you like. It's been 3 years and still looks like new.
