This past weekend I was watching an episode of Car Crazy, location New Zealand. In the opening shots, I notice a Bulletbird off in the distance, lowered, two tone, Dagmar hubcabs. I call out, I know that car, the owner's on the forum. Of course, my wife just shakes her head, that I recognize a car practically out of view.

Shortly after they are interviewing Alistair and his son along side the Tbird. Congrats on your TV appearance Petrolhead, only wish they had shown more of your car.

I met a few guys while I was over in your country that had seen the show and were impressed and susrprised at the quality and number of hot rods and American bodies cars here.

It's 12,500 miles to ship a car from the States to NZ so you can see we're keen on them (or mad!)

Hi Ray, thank you so much for setting up the web page, it was quite a surprise and I'm really impressed with what you've done - a man of many talents.
The US film crew was excellent. Very professional, courteous and well organised. The NZ Meguiar's importer and distributor hosted the evening, and invited various car clubs, groups and individuals along to show the rest of the world what's going on here in NZ. After looking at the DVDs that Car Crazy sent to my son and I think NZ came across pretty well, I hope that's the impression you guys got. I felt like a complete fool; although I do it all the time for our magazines, I really don't like being on the receiving end of an interview (:
My son Brad was also very reluctant, although he's a big lad he's just 15 (dunno where he gets his height from) and quite shy.

Hi Alistair!

It was a pleasure to do it for you. Yes, that was good coverage of the event, I think. It was great seeing the many different vehicles that showed up for the event, yours included, of course. You have a big lad there for being 15 years of age! I know what you mean about doing interviews. I probably am not to good at being on the receiving end either! I hope everyone enjoyed the video clip and the web page.
