Question Front End Creaking

When I push down on the driver side fender, I hear a creaking sound from the front suspension. Could be from the bushings, or the spring -- I can't tell.

I had an old car that did that, and a mechanic put it on the lift and sprayed silicon lube on the suspension parts. The creak went away.

Has anyone had this creaking noise, and used something on the rubber bushings and front suspension parts?

Thumbs up

My experience with the creaking is normally dry or dirty bushings in which the silicone lube will get in between the rubber and the metal retainers and stop the noise WD40 works to for awhile.

Also check the torque on the nuts you might find a loose one

Default

It was the upper control arm bushings that were creaking.

The silicon spray solved it right away.

Thanks
