"Do you know where this part mounts in a 66 390? looks like on the bell housing but not sure. Location would be nice." Here is the pic he sent me.

![]() That is the bracket where the counter weight spring for the carburetor goes. You are correct that it goes to one of the bell housing bolts. I don't have a picture of one in place, just the parts diagram. Maybe one of our members who has a '66 can take a picture of it installed.

Both holes line up with the bell housing bolts right where the accelerator bracket rubber stopper / fulcrum is located . Would be quite difficult to take a picture of it in place . Hope this helps . |
