Clamp the bypassed heater hose so coolant doesn't flow.

I've had my heater bypassed for a couple of years due to a leaky control valve (coolant in the passenger footwell). I'd like to fix it before fall to extend my driving season a bit. I thought the T'bird vendors sold T'bird specific replacements that went in the engine bay, is that not so?

Yes, they sell TBird kits to mount in the engine bay but not specifically for his Sunliner.

I guess I should pay better attention to what sub-forum things are posted in.

I generally pull up the "latest posts" and go through them, I sometimes miss that they aren't in the Squarebird area now that we've got so many new areas.

Sorry about the confusion.
