Transmission/Flexplate noise in Park

Help! Getting grinding noise in park only, sounds like flexplate grinding but only in Park, stops in any other position. Rebuilt transmission was just installed, using later 184 tooth flexplate and
starter, just changed starter to high torque starter and can see plenty of clearance between starter gear and flexplate.
Noise stops after car warms up and is driven.?????

did you get a wire wrong, so that the starter is engaging when in park???

Check to make sure you have the transmission adjusted properly especially when in park although the adjustment position is with it in D1. If you're not getting it fully in park, it can make the noise you're talking about. Have you installed a new detent plate?

All fixed. Had to rebuild transmission again.
