    1960 Thunderbird Clock

Is there a way to adjust the clocks speed? I have one that is fast and one that is slow. Booth of them have been running for about 4 months on transformers in my shop. My plan to make a desk clock out of one of them.

I believe that when you set the clock due to its being
slow or fast, there is an adjustment made internally to take that into account.

You might try adjusting it, say, forward several times and then carefully note if there is a corresponding change.

If the mechanism is working correctly - when you make adjustments with the knob it speeds the clock up or slows it down until you eventually get it timed right. (if it is too fast and you set it back that is supposed to slow the clock down etc) Believe that info is in the owners manual if you have one but not the shop manual.

Don't know how accurate you want them to be but I've never had one that isn't a minute or two fast or slow over 24hours ( the ones I have converted to desk clocks ).

edit - I see that John beat me to the answer ........

I'm just happy to have mine running. If it keeps time, that is a bonus.
