Is your Speedometer mechanical or electric? I am thinking of going to an electric when I put in the C6.

It's electric. I replaced the original wiring with a Painless kit.

Thank you for all your input and great ideas, I sent the gauges to Birdsnest, turns out, as you already guessed, they are both fried. They rebuilt them for me and I am waiting to get them back so I can re install them and get her on the road.- Just one observation with this forum-I am amazed at the response and suggestions you all come up with.
